AARX/Kronolog II is a virtual CD-ROM gallery that contains the artwork of visual futurist Syd Mead, known for his contributions to such films as TRON, Star Trek, Aliens, and Bladerunner. The title includes video of the artist describing background information for each piece and his process of creation. The environment of the gallery is portrayed as the interior of a large alien ship floating in space, and the user can fly through any of five thematic tunnels encountering the work of the artist. Winner of four industry awards including a New Media Invision Award of Excel-lence and a Gold Award, and two Associa-tion of Visual Communicators (AVC) Cindy Awards.
